OOTD: A Bit of the Same

Hey guys! So I wore this quite awhile ago in the summer but I wasn't sure if I was going to put it up because of the shoes. Well I put it up anyway because I'm loving the colors. It's rare for me to wear so much color in one outfit but it was a good sunny day. And as for the skirt, I have no idea why but I just decided to buy this skirt on ebay and another blue one. It was only $4.

Gosh my first week of going back to school was hard to adjust to. Every day I came home and slept until 1 and then I did my homework. Monday and Wednesday were especially ridiculous because I had to wake up at 5:30 to get to a 7:20 class ahh. I'm just glad I haven't started work yet or I would've been exhausted! I'm greatful for that though, it gives me time to get used to my schedule.

I've made a few study friends already. This weekend I plan on going to the flea market to find some goodies.

OOTD: To Be a Kid Again

So today I just threw these shorts on with a different top and this shirt fell on the floor. Sooo I decided to wear this top when my friends came over. I haven't worn denim and a t shirt for what seems like a long time. I admit I like the feel of it, I feel a bit sporty :).

Hmm besides that I've been watching all 7 of the Harry Potter movies, made a couple of dream catchers, bought school supplies and now I'm waiting for a store to open so I can go apply! This job search is killing my self esteem man.

P.S. So I know I've been neglecting youtube for quite sometime now. I'm thinking about doing a haul soon :).

OOD:Quick Outfit!

And a quick outfit post that I never posted. It's just a simple, pinup inspired outfit with neutrals :). The whole outfit is thrifted besides the necklace which I bought from Target about 2 years ago.

Hey! So yesterday I went to the mall with Alex and it was pretty uneventful. I didn't really find anything I liked because I'm so cheap haha. And for some reason, every time I go to H&M to find something, I never find anything.... But everyone loves it there. But besides that, I was gifted by Oasap with this pretty blue chiffon skirt. Paired with a simple skirt and this lovely leaf necklace from ebay, I was quite comfortable. I've always loved this bright blue but I've never seemed to buy it.

I wish I had a better backdrop. The weather lately has been rainy every day so great photos are a dream. I'm always taking photos right when it's about to rain! Since I've been back from vacation, my mind has hardly been on school and I just realized...I need school books. I'm in such deep crap if I don't have the books in two weeks lol. My procrastination has caught up with me! Hopefully I'll take some good outfit photos tomorrow. Much love to you guys :)

OOTD: Casual Prints

So I wore this outfit before my vacation to Canada and I wore it out shopping with Denisse. I went with a very simple outfit, simple hair and some heels. I ended up buying an interview dress and a tank top. I don't know why but I've been hooked on this burnt orange color. I always go through color phases. Awhile ago it was pink :)

This weekend was too much lol. I went to the springs with some friends, went out to a party and then went to see the Dark Knight Rises again. I slept all day today and watched all the Harry Potter movies that I borrowed from a friend haha. 

Well I plan on job searching again tomorrow since I'm home and possibly doing a thrift haul for 'school shopping'. And I recently just purchased a bunch of shoes online! Can't wait until they get here ahh!

OOTD: Burnt

So now that I'm back from vacation, I'm back to blogging! I took a bit of a longer break than I expected but I'm back. I bought this shirt from Forever 21 and I just love the color. I've always been a fan of burnt orange so naturally I love this top. I went a bit overboard and styled it with two different outfits with a slouchy bun. I'm a bigger fan of the printed shorts than that white skirt but that's probably because I love shorts. It was one of those days where I changed my outfit twice.

Anywhoo yesterday was pretty fun, I went to Blue Springs with some friends and now some laundry is calling my attention. There's about three piles of clothes in my room that I've ignored since I've been back haha. Hopefully I'll go back out again this weekend with it all clean. Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Travel: Canada

 Haha this is my family and I on the way to the Carnival in Canada. Taking photos and eating breakfast before we go. Wearing bajan pride colors, blue yellow and white:

The Carnival! It was such a hot day and I didn't take as many photos as I would have liked. I was having too much fun! The girls in the costumes for the parade are just part of how pretty the parade was. We were out there from 2pm to 7pm and then we stayed out until 3am. Needless to say we were all exhausted. There was food, concession stands, souvenir shops, and more delicious food. The whole town was crowded!

The end of our trip at Niagra Falls on the New York side. Shortly after we were on a plane headed back home!
