The Backpack:

These bags are totally essential for school and for weekend outings depending on where you're going. Concerts, beach weekends, trail walkings and classrooms is what I usually wear them to.  Perfect for organizing your the contents of your bag. 

The Purse:
For everyday use! They're my go-to bags and I'm always looking for different styles to match each outfit.  

The Oversized Bag:
I mostly use these bags for whenever I sleep away from home and sometimes for the beach. They're big, they're convenient and they're totally roomy. 

The Cross-body:
Perfect for going out! I love wearing cross-body purses when I go shopping or when I go out. For me, it's mostly worn for when I don't feel like carrying around too many things.  The essentials like my wallet, sunglasses, chopstick and phone go into this bag.

MY Closet: Sunglasses!

I'm in need of a new way to store these sunglasses! I bought that little cup from Goodwill but when you move out, you forget the little things. Any DIY suggestions?

My Closet: Childhood Bedroom & New Jewelry

Hey readers! I wanted to show you guys a piece of my room and how I set up my jewelry collection! My bedroom has always been a safe haven and a place to escape to ever since I was a child. It's basically supposed to be a haven of relaxation :). Sometimes I'll feel the need to light a candle and read to feel total relaxation and sometimes I'll work out. I've always loved curling up next to soft earth tones and more than two pillows. When it comes to colors, I tend to gravitate towards gray, white or light green. In fact I just painted my walls light gray about two years ago.
I recently changed the setup of my jewelry again and I don't think you can do this too many times! I used to spread out my jewelry all over the room but I like it all in one space now. That way, I don't forget or lose track of which pieces I haven't been wearing. Also, I mean if you're obsessed with jewelry like I am, it's just fun to rearrange in general. What do you girls prefer?
Since I was recently contacted by Parachute Home, I'll end with a quote from their blog. "When people say they want a soothing color for a bedroom, they often think of blues and grays". This is basically what I turn to too! I love grays, whites, navy blues and green. I'll always be a fan of natural tones. 

Self: My Bag

Here's my 'What's in my bag' post as promised! A big thank you to my family friend Mrs. Janice for gifting me this rug too. I forgot to add my mints and a pen but this is definitely the usual when it comes to what I carry. Sometimes I carry sunglasses too :).

Honestly, I don't use this wallet anymore but the one I'm using now is even older lol. It's just a regular black card holder until I find a wallet that holds everything. Well! It's where I keep my $$ and gift cards.

My Closet: Accessorize

Hello!

Yesterday was my birthday! Ahh I'm 20 how crazy is that?? 

I ended up getting going out to dinner with Alex and having a beach night and my mom bought me flowers and a gift card to Forever 21! I haven't gone out and shopped in so long I can't wait!

But anyway my obsession has been growing and I don't even wear them all lol. I recently just got rid of a lot of necklaces and I still feel like my desk is soo cluttered. I have to get a bracelet holder because y'know, jewelry boxes are meant to close ha. Well what do you guys think? How do you organize your jewelry?

My Closet: DIY SHORTS :)

So my friend Jasmin came over and we spent the day on shorts! It was a fun way to pass time and they all came out pretty well. From left to right:

Pink Floral: I took some fabric from an old shirt and glued it on!
Tan: I bleached my old brown shorts to a lighter color. It was seriously ugly brown and they were from Goodwill.
Striped: I measured out the lines and colored them in with permanent marker. But I need to color it in more!
American Flag: Again with the permanent marker and I added lace to the back because when I colored the back I ran out of permanent marker. A nice cover up!
Teal: I just added lace to the back pockets :)

Self: In My Bag

1.Sunglasses: These are essential when living in Florida. The sun is always blazing!
2. Chap Stick/ Lip Gloss/ Lipstick: I always have chapstick on me and if I'm going out, I usually apply a bit of lipgloss or nude lipstick just for some added color
3. Book: A good book always comes in handy <3
4. Cell Phone: I can't be without my phone! I'm constantly checking for emails, texts, calls!
5. Scrunchie/ Hair Pins: For when it's super humid outside or rainy, or for when I don't want to deal with my hair. The added pins helps flyaways
6. Mints: Gotta love keeping your breath fresh!
7. Hand Sanitizer: I don't really use it that much because I'm such a freak about washing my hands but there are days when they just feel extra gross.
8. Lotion: To add some moisture back into my hands.
9. Wallet: -
10. Ipod: Whenever I study or want to be alone,  I use it.
11. Perfume: Last but not least, an added spritz always feels nice :).

P.S.: I can't wait to see the Hobbit in theaters! And have you guys seen Snow White and the Huntsman?
