OOTD: Animal & Dots

Hello all!

Quick note to my readers: 

It's been over a year since I made my last blog post and I'm excited to start again. After some time, blogging lost all appeal to me. Constantly posting about me me me seemed selfish and I struggled with the idea of using this blog as a personal outlet. 

I needed a fresh start. Here and in life. 

Moving, relationships, graduation. I needed a break from having an online presence to work on my real life and it was the best decision I've ever made. I couldn't stand counting followers after awhile and bloggers like Deevine Anonyme and Nia Perry inspired me to keep posting, to start again and to add some new personal elements to my blog. 

So! Round 2 girls. 

As for my outfit, I've worn these sandals a total of one time and I decided to mix prints again! 

A new tag may be in order! 

Summer outfits call for fun and color and this old top was a nice semi-neutral top to pair with my black and navy blue attire. What do you think about Mixed Prints?

OOTD: Yellow Skirt

Black, grey and yellow. Three basic colors.  I recently received this mustard skirt from Amiclubwear and mixed prints a bit with the bag and the top from H&M. Then I added minimal gold jewelry and black boots. I love using pops of color to mix minor prints :).
In a couple of days I'll be away on weekdays and have access to my computer on weekends only so blogging will be put on a minor hold again until the end of July. I'm working as a camp counselor and  I can't wait!

OOTD: Memorial Day Weekend

Happy Memorial Day! I took advantage of some furniture sales and took a small trip to St.Augustine again after helping the bf move this weekend...hence all the awful bruises on my legs, meh.  Thankfully I came home to a package from AMIClubwear and Amazon lol. I purchased this romper for the 4th of July but I couldn't wait to wear it. So comfy! Also, I'm so thankfully to AMIClubwear for sending these gladiator shoes. I've always loved their store.
Currently I've been obsessed with Game of Thrones and just kind of relaxing until my summer job starts in two weeks.

OOTD: Simple & Striped

Hey girls! Here's another outfit I wore during my week at Coral Springs. Hot and humid days call for sleeveless tops ugh lol. I wore this during a casual walk at the park/errand day. I went shopping, dropped off groceries, went walking with the bf after dinner and watched a movie. Totally casual outfit. It's a simple and striped top paired with denim high waist shorts. My usual go-to outfit for the summer! :)

OOTD: Simple Floral Dress

Hey everyone! Simple floral dresses are perfect for humid summer days. This mini babydoll dress is a couple years old and I packed it to wear during my week long summer vacation in South Fl. I wore it during the last couple of days when I felt uncreative in choosing my outfits and I wore it on the drive back home.
It was more like a babysitting job this week so this dress was perfect. I took care of this little cutie Emmie and my boyfriend's nephew while they packed to move elsewhere and put their house up for sale. I love it there, it's less humid than Central Florida but I'm happy to be home! Next week I'll head back there and I can't wait to find more locations! Zzzzzz

OOTD: Turban Days & Trousers

Turban days = bad hair days/lazy days before work. This type of outfit comes to me whenever I don't feel like doing my hair the day before work. Twist outs will last all day instead of the "standard bun" I usually wear. This outfit is a bit of a monochrome outfit with detailed accents to make it pop. I wore it to my brief summer retail job after a weekend of summer fun. I feel totally relaxed but bold in this outfit! Turbans and statement earrings are the best ways to compensate if you want to feel stylish :). I also fell in love with the detail of this blouse. The open back, the buttons and the patterned trim in the front adds something extra to this simple white tank top.
